The mental well-being of the workforce is an ongoing and pressing issue, particularly exacerbated by external factors that create unique challenges for employers and their safety leaders. In Central Florida, commuters face daily stress and aggravation due to congested roads, leading to significant impacts on their mental health and overall productivity. This presentation and ensuing roundtable discussion aim to examine the prevalence of intense traffic congestion in the region and its profound effects on the workforce’s well-being, offering insights and strategies to address these challenges effectively.
