June Chapter Meeting
June 3, 2024
11:30 am - 1:30 pm
The mental well-being of the workforce is an ongoing and pressing issue, particularly exacerbated by external factors that create unique challenges for employers and their safety leaders. In Central Florida, commuters face daily stress and aggravation due to congested roads, leading to significant impacts on their mental health and overall productivity. This presentation and ensuing roundtable discussion aim to examine the prevalence of intense traffic congestion in the region and its profound effects on the workforce’s well-being, offering insights and strategies to address these challenges effectively.
Please join the Central Florida ASSP Chapter and Time Bernardi for this important discussion. Tim is a seasoned construction management professional with over 20 years of experience, having served as an estimator, project manager, and currently as a safety director. He has contributed to notable projects including the Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World, Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Orlando, and the Veterans Administration Community Living Center in Orlando. Timothy is also an author of textbooks on commercial construction management, including the five-volume series “Building the Building” and “Generation Safety,” and currently works as the Safety Director for Mader Southeast in Orlando, Florida.
