Every year we recognize our members who have met significant service milestones. Please join us in congratulating these milestone members:
- Michael R. St. Lawrence, Central Florida
- John M. Brown, Central Florida
- Michelle M. Demarest, Central Florida
- Randy A. Hancock, Central Florida
- Carroll Wayne Higdon, Central Florida
- Eli D. Stern, Central Florida
Thank you for your service and many years of contribution to ASSP!
The safety and health of all involved remain our highest priority. We know that many members are eager to meet face-to-face with their ASSP colleagues and have a return to normal operations. Based on what we currently know about the pandemic, vaccine administration and projections about the virus spread, we believe a tempered approach is best. We will continue to have virtual events through July and reassess after that on a month to month basis. We believe this will allow us to best serve our members while still being mindful of public safety and health challenges we continue to face due to the pandemic.
The chapter officers and board appreciate your patience and support during this past year. We work for the membership and have tried to deliver quality sessions during this unusual time.
I’m looking forward to another year of growth and success for our chapter. Please mark your calendars and join us throughout the year, we’ll be saving you a seat.
All Best Wishes,
The Central Florida Chapter continues engaging, connecting and educating members virtually, despite being unable to meet in person due to COVID-19. The May meeting topic was “What OSH Professionals Should Know about Total Worker Health (TWH)” facilitated by Liz Hill and Dede Montgomery of the Oregon Total Worker Health Alliance.
