Whether you are a 20-year member or checking out our page for the first time, we are so excited you are here! As the chapter year has just begun, we are looking forward to all that the 2026-2027 year will bring. Our board members had a productive planning meeting in July to develop our strategy for the new year. Our core focuses this year will be on leadership commitment, member engagement, chapter growth & success, and key success indicators. As we look to increase member engagement, if you have someone in mind that would benefit from learning more about our ASSP chapter, please invite them as their first meeting is complimentary!

Upcoming Events

Please join us for our September chapter meeting recognizing Suicide Awareness month featuring Scott Evans, Founder of Invisible PPE and Mental Health & Suicide Prevention speaker. Construction loses 5-to-1 more workers to suicide than to jobsite accidents. We’ve mastered physical safety (hard hats, harnesses, LOTO) but we still have no protocol for the Internal Fall™, the one that happens while a worker is standing on solid ground. This isn’t a weakness or caring problem; it’s a Translation Gap between leadership intent and jobsite reality – Corporate FM vs. Worker AM.
