Jodi shares her families inspiring story and steadfast approach to managing grief and the struggles that come from tragedy. Life does not always take the path you had hoped, but if you embrace the unexpected turns, you may land somewhere more beautiful than you ever dreamed.

As Director of Travel Agency Sales for Disney Destinations Sales Solutions, Jodi Bainter oversees sales for the Disney Destinations vacation portfolio, including Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney Signature Experiences (Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko’ Olina, Hawaii, Adventures by Disney, and National Geographic Expeditions) for the Domestic Travel Trade Industry.
A seasoned professional with more than 30 years in the travel industry, Jodi began her Disney career in 1998. Prior to her current role, she was Director of Central Florida Sales and Domestic Marketing Distribution Strategy for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts overseeing relationships with major accommodation brands, destination marketing organizations, the Greater Orlando Airport Authority and other critical businesses that impact and support tourism in the region. Throughout the course of her Disney career, she has held a variety of key leadership roles driving strategy and innovation across the domestic and international sales division, to include the Disney Institute. Jodi is currently a board member with the Orange County Tourism Development Council, and formerly held a board seat on the International Drive Chamber of Commerce and Experience Kissimmee.
She has been an active volunteer for Donate Life, organ and tissue donation and in the amputee community for the last decade. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and is a published author.
