Please join us for our September chapter meeting recognizing Suicide Awareness month featuring Scott Evans, Founder of Invisible PPE and Mental Health & Suicide Prevention speaker.  Construction loses 5-to-1 more workers to suicide than to jobsite accidents. We’ve mastered physical safety (hard hats, harnesses, LOTO) but we still have no protocol for the Internal Fall™, the one that happens while a worker is standing on solid ground. This isn’t a weakness or caring problem; it’s a Translation Gap between leadership intent and jobsite reality – Corporate FM vs. Worker AM.

Who is Scott Evans? I’m a suicide‑attempt survivor who proudly works at CEMEX in Ready‑Mix every day and understands the culture between the boardroom and the field. I am not a clinician or a hero. I’m just a guy who came from outside the industry 9 years ago, who thinks we can do better for one another. One day I chose the Exit but was handed a Ladder instead. Now I lead with my story to work as a resource to help others avoid searching for the Exit, and find a Way Up, Not Out™.
