Our chapter welcomes representatives from the American Heart Association for an informative and hands-on session covering sudden cardiac arrest, community preparedness, and the life-saving role of Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERPs).
The presentation is designed to be accessible for members at every experience level — whether you hold a current CPR certification or have never taken a course. The goal is straightforward: build awareness, boost confidence, and help every attendee feel ready to act if a cardiac emergency happens around them.

🎤 OUR SPEAKERS
Oriana Cardin, MPH
Community Impact Vice President, American Heart Association
Oriana leads cross-sector partnerships across healthcare, public health, government, and community organizations throughout Central Florida, translating national priorities into local action — especially for communities most affected by heart disease and stroke. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina.
Heather Maloney
Executive Director, Greater Orlando, American Heart Association
With over two decades of experience in nonprofit development and volunteer management, Heather leads the Greater Orlando development and community health team. A proud UCF graduate and native Floridian, she has been recognized with the American Heart Association’s Community Impact Collaboration Award and the Outstanding Market Fundraising and Performance Award.
