Volunteer Opportunity!

Come join us in making a difference in our community! We hope this finds you all well and in good health. We are excited to invite you to participate in a meaningful volunteer event at Second Harvest Food Bank in downtown Orlando where we will be helping sort food donations. Space is limited and right now we have 20 spots reserved, we can get more, but let’s fill these first!

Requirements for the event:

• Ages 10+
• Closed toed and closed heeled shoes
• Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift boxes/items

As volunteers we will each need to sign up with Second Harvest. Please use the link below. Once you (the volunteer) creates an account, you will need to click the sign-up button next to the shift we signed up to attend.

Helpful Info:
*Temperature: The warehouse temp is typically similar to the temperature outside due to the deliveries and pick-ups that occur. Ex. if it’s cooler outside, layers are recommended, warmer outside, shorts are acceptable.
*Bottled Water: Provided in the break room for all volunteers
*Onsite Eating Space: ASSP will provide a box lunch.
