January Chapter Meeting Recap

We had an outstanding turnout for our January Chapter Meeting.  New Chapter Member and Give Kids the World Village Safety Manager Neal McCord hosted the meeting in the Peppermint Room.  Give Kids The World Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families.  World-renowned speaker The Safety Training Ninja Regina McMichael gave an excellent presentation on how to improve safety training.  Regina McMichael, CSP, CET, also known as The Safety Training Ninja, has helped companies for over 30 years. She has been developing, delivering, and implementing training programs for every type of organization, including family owned business, global, insurance, trade and professional associations and manufacturing, energy and construction companies. The system of great training works in every industry and discipline.  Everyone left inspired by both the venue and our gracious and energetic speaker.  Several members immediately approached Neal about volunteering at the village!

We are so honored that Give Kids the World Village has offered to host our Chapter meetings.  We will be giving back by making a donation to the Village each month, and we will be holding our annual volunteer activity there in April.  Sign up today to see how Give Kids the World Village is making a difference in the lives of those in need.
